Flight Paths: Broadening Horizons and Raising Aspirations

Our Flight Paths Programme provides a carefully planned journey of experiences from Early Years through to Year 6.

Flight Paths are designed to:

• Broaden pupils' horizons
• Raise aspirations
• Introduce children to new experiences
• Develop character and confidence
• Build cultural capital
• Strengthen readiness for future education and life

Every year group benefits from a range of carefully selected experiences including visits, visitors, performances, outdoor learning opportunities, community projects and enrichment activities. These experiences help children discover new interests, challenge themselves and see possibilities beyond their immediate environment.

Through Flight Paths, pupils progressively develop the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to flourish both now and in the future.
